The CyberFirst Girls Competition 2024/25

The Girls' Competition is designed to inspire and empower young girls to explore the field of cybersecurity. By participating, your school will not only provide students with a unique learning experience but also demonstrate your commitment to fostering gender diversity in tech. It's a great way to introduce the field of cybersecurity and open doors to career paths, solve fun challenges, and compete for amazing prizes.

The competition is a team event. Each team – consisting of up to four girls in Year 8, tackle challenges from cryptography and logic to artificial intelligence and networking for the chance to be crowned cyber security champions.

 

Every girl from the winning teams will take a brand-new laptop home, and have a chance to win prize money for their school.

 

No prior expertise in cybersecurity is required to participate in the competition. Simply sign your students up on the platform, and they can compete at their own pace. They can engage during classroom time, at lunchtime, or even choose to meet up on weekends.
