Dr Claire Garside is our Schools Engagement Lead, with over two decades of experience in computing education, educational technology, and leadership. She leads outreach activities, delivers workshops, and works closely with our CyberFirst schools to strengthen cybersecurity awareness and digital skills across the Yorkshire and Humber region. Claire is your go-to contact for all things CyberFirst in Yorkshire and Humber.

Ben McIvor is our Operations Lead, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of CyberFirst across Yorkshire and Humber. He oversees the Schools Outreach Leads across the region and works closely with Claire to ensure schools and partners benefit from a joined-up approach. Ben also manages communications for central campaigns and is your go-to contact for any CyberFirst-related activity that is not explicitly school-focused.
