Northern Ireland's Girls Celebration Event

We had the pleasure of attending the CyberFirst Northern Ireland Girls Celebration Event. Teams throughout the day took on our very own Enigma challenge. The event celebrated the incredible achievements of Northern Ireland’s top 10 teams and we were thrilled to see so many talented young individuals making their mark in the cybersecurity field.

 

It was an inspiring reminder of the growing role women play in this industry and the potential for more diversity in the future of cybersecurity.

Looking ahead, CyberFirst Yorkshire is excited to host our own Girls Celebration Event this week. This event will be dedicated to recognising and celebrating the outstanding talent from our region. We’re incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of young girls who are have shown outstanding knowledge in cybersecurity and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for these talented individuals.

These events are part of a broader initiative to inspire, support and nurture the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. By offering opportunities for young people to engage with the field in hands-on ways, CyberFirst Yorkshire is helping to ensure that the future of cybersecurity is in good hands.
