Get up to Speed with STEM

CyberFirst Yorkshire is excited to be attending Get up to Speed with STEM, an interactive careers showcase designed to inspire the next generation of STEM professionals. Held annually at Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham, this event introduces students, parents and teachers to the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Manufacturing (STEM).

With over a decade of success, Get up to Speed with STEM has engaged more than 44,000 young people, educators and families, offering hands-on experiences and insights into STEM careers.

At CyberFirst, we are dedicated to encouraging young people to explore the exciting world of cybersecurity. Through our initiatives, we provide students with the skills, knowledge and opportunities to pursue rewarding careers in the cyber industry. At this event, we’ll be showcasing Forensics to show the vital role cybersecurity plays.

The event brings together local and national employers to showcase their industries, highlight career opportunities and help bridge the skills gap in STEM-related fields. Join us as we demonstrate the exciting pathways available in cybersecurity and inspire the future workforce!
