The CyberFirst Yorkshire and Humber team participated in the Get Up To Speed with STEM (GUTS) Event in Sheffield, delivering our interactive activities Cyber Heist and Search the Bin.

These hands-on challenges provided students with practical Cyber Security experiences, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Get Up To Speed with STEM is an annual careers showcase event aimed at inspiring students, parents, and teachers about opportunities in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Manufacturing (STEM) sectors.

 

Held at the Magna Science Adventure Centre, the event features interactive exhibits from local and national employers, highlighting the diverse career paths available in STEM fields.

The CyberFirst Yorkshire and Humber team’s involvement underscored the importance of Cyber Security in today’s digital landscape and aimed to inspire the next generation of Cyber Security professionals.
