The programme seeks to provide valuable opportunities for young people aged 12-17 to learn about cyber security and related subjects, gain valuable experience through volunteering at police led events, and become a role model to others through promoting positive messaging around safe and lawful behaviours online (Cyber Prevent) and educate citizens and businesses around how to improve their cyber security to reduce the risk of becoming victims of fraud and cyber crime (Cyber Protect).
The programme also seeks to raise young people’s awareness of the varied cyber & digital themed education, intern/apprenticeships, and career pathways on offer post 16, and through working with our Partners facilitate opportunities in this regard.
